Since this is a site concerning kindness please take a moment and consider a small kindness you can do you for your family, your children and anyone else that uses your computer. As an professional IT guy I am fully versed about the yuck on the Internet and urge you, if you haven't done it already, to please lock down your computer with a good filtering program!
There are several good programs on the Internet that cost less then $40/year that will allow you to decide what content will be permitted on your machine and what won't be permitted. You can also state how long your kids/spouse/yourself can be on the Internet over a peroid like a week as well as simply say that the site you are addicted to or even the game that your kids are addicted to can only be played between the hours of say 6 and 8pm. A good filter will come with a reporting tool that lets you know where users have attempted to go as well as a convenient override password you can use if the filter gets a bit overzealous.
